BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY
We have a bereavement café that meets up on the last Thursday of every month. From 11.30 in the Atrium Café.
This is an informal drop in support group.
Throughout the year we run several bereavement courses -
“The Bereavement Journey”. This is a 7 week course, spread over 7 weekly 2 hour sessions. Please contact us for the dates of the next course.
PARISH NURSE
All Saints Woodford Wells have a Parish Nurse – Elaine Swinney, who is a Registered Nurse.
The Parish Nurse aims to provide Holistic Healthcare working alongside the Pastoral Care team for those at All Saints Woodford Wells (and the wider community).
Initial assessments can be carried out either in your own home or at the Church by appointment. From this initial assessment there is a range of support that may be offered, for example: signposting & help with navigating the health & social care systems, advocacy, making appropriate referrals, liaising with GP/healthcare professionals, spiritual care & prayer.
